Industry analysts agree: The market outlook for managed service providers (MSPs) has never been stronger. Canalys forecasts a 13% surge in global managed services spending this year — outpacing overall IT spending, which is expected to grow just 8.3%.
But what separates high-growth MSPs from the rest?
A new study from Channel Mastered surveyed 200 MSPs to uncover how they measure and manage service delivery. The research examined how many track KPIs across five mission-critical categories, how many aim for best-in-class performance levels, and — crucially — how many consistently hit or exceed those goals.
The findings are clear:
MSPs with ambitious, benchmark-driven KPIs — and the discipline to back them up with rigorous documentation and standardized workflows — are far more likely to grow at double-digit rates.
