This may come as a shock, but one of the best use cases for MyGlue is documentation. Most small businesses (aka your clients) benefit almost as much as you do from standardized documentation. MyGlue is an effective way for you to put your clients on the path to documentation zen.

Many MSPs that love IT Glue have shared that Glue love with their clients by setting up MyGlue and enabling them to document all of their knowledge including SOPs, How-To docs, and other forms of documentation. Doing this has helped those companies reduce onboarding times, as well as increase process efficiency by making sure that everybody has the tools to perform tasks the right way, every time.

Customize your offering

We have a couple of partners that specialize in verticals and use MyGlue to set up and serve standardized templates as flexible assets. If your clients create and use the same document types regularly, you can simplify their document creation process by custom designing documentation templates for them to use in MyGlue. As this approach is a little more hands-on, some MSPs charge a consultation fee for customizing their documentation tool, and some roll it in with the onboarding fee.

MyGlue is built on the nuts and bolts of IT Glue, and as an MSP you have the ability to set up clients however you wish in terms of what asset types they see. If they aren’t familiar with even the concept of documentation, then we definitely recommend that you keep it simple with just one or two asset types (usually Documents and Passwords). You are also able to create and set up checklists for your clients, should you so desire.
