IT Glue Hires Phil Sansom, Managing Director, EMEA

IT Glue™ is excited to announce the hiring of Phil Sansom as Managing Director, EMEA, effective February 1, 2017. As the company’s first key hire in the UK, Phil is going to accelerate IT Glue’s growth throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). We are going to be setting up a local office in the UK, and creating a network of distributors and resellers throughout the EMEA region.
Phil brings over 30 years of experience in both the IT Service Provider/VAR/MSP and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) businesses. He comes to us from Datto, where he has been serving as the Channel Development Director for the past two years. Before that, Phil spent 11 years with Kaseya. He started there in 2004 as the VP of EMEA Sales, and worked his way through a number of progressive positions, during which time he built Kaseya’s UK operation from the ground up.
In his new role as Managing Director, Sansom will be responsible for the growth and success of IT Glue’s UK and EMEA business. Europe is a huge growth market for IT Glue, and we are really just getting started in terms of tapping into that potential. As such, this hire is critical to hitting our EMEA market targets. One of the first steps for Phil will be to spend a significant amount of time working with vendor partners and resellers throughout the region. He will be active representing IT Glue at industry events in the region, including IT Nation Europe on April 25-27th in London.

I have loved every minute of this exciting adventure and I’m delighted to have joined the wonderful team at IT Glue, whose solution, I believe, fills a very sizable missing piece of the Managed Service Provider solution jigsaw!”
